Cetaqua
Cetaqua, Water Technology Centre
Cetaqua is a water technology centre with a pioneering model of public-private collaboration that promotes the relationship between administration, university, and company. It has consolidated itself as a European reference in the application of scientific knowledge to water management and the environment with the creation of products and services that benefit and add value to society. The main lines of research focus on
proposing R&D&I solutions to ensure the sustainability and efficiency of the water cycle, considering territorial needs. Cetaqua is comprised of four centres that are independent but share strategies and work in collaboration.
Cetaqua Andalucía
Cetaqua develops technologies and solutions to create a sustainable, safe and accessible water cycle for all, taking into account local needs and for the benefit of our communities. Cetaqua Andalucía was created in 2014 by Hidralia, the University of Malaga (UMA) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). In its two lines of research (Water 4.0 and Water resources management) , Cetaqua seeks new R&D&I solutions in the field of water resource management, with a special emphasis on groundwater, as well as in the field of digital technology, with a focus on the integral water cycle.

Aigües de Barcelona
Aigües de Barcelona manages the complete water cycle in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is committed to the development and progress of the city of Barcelona and its metropolitan area (more than 3 million people), ensuring at all times access to quality water, the well-being and health of the people, and the sustainable management of water resources. The main tasks include drinking water production and distribution, sewerage and wastewater treatment, as well as reclaimed water production.

EGM
EGM specializes in the implementation of interoperable systems based on open standards and validated technologies. Drawing on its Internet of Things design office and its data platform team, EGM’s offer mainly covers:
- Accompanying its customers through all the stages involved in creating a data project;
- A sector-based approach, with a specific offer for certain business areas such as agriculture, smart cities and water.
The company was founded in 2010, and today has a staff of 15 (mainly engineers and PhDs), forming a multi-disciplinary team capable of addressing all the challenges of an applied or research project.

Fresh Thoughts Consulting GmbH (FT) keeps the finger on the pulse of our core policy areas: freshwater and marine management, adaptation to climate change, agriculture, environmental economics and sustainable tourism. Our experienced team is well-informed about the policy and science developments in our areas of expertise and is highly motivated to provide high-quality products and services flexibly.
FT provides reliable and timely delivery of policy assessments and recommendations, environmental plan and strategy development, knowledge management and services including online solutions and database development, economic and statistical assessments as well as knowledge-based helpdesk services.
FT also offers event organisation and management services for small and large-scale on-site and online events, such as workshops, trainings, study trips and conferences.
LNEC
LNEC’s mission is to undertake, coordinate and promote scientific research and technological development, aiming to the continuous improvement and the good practice of Civil Engineering.
It is also LNEC’s responsibility to pursue the public interest, by providing services of Science and Technology to public and private, national and foreign entities, contributing to innovation, dissemination of Knowledge and technology transfer.

Acacia Water aims at proposing and implementing sustainable solutions for water issues worldwide by combining science, practical decisiveness and professional drive with personal involvement. The availability of clean, healthy and safe water for everyone is our mission. Continuous contact with owners and users of water systems is the standard.
We aim to look at the bigger picture. Our field of knowledge is broad and covers various areas of expertise. In addition, we are able to connect different scales: from short to long term, from plot to land, from individual farmer to government. Our critical and independent approach and the combination of inspired idealism and a pragmatic, human approach makes us unique.
We feel a strong responsibility to deploy and transfer our knowledge and expertise where it is most needed. Based on that passion, Acacia Water provides substantive and practical advice for the greatest possible impact.

Water Europe (WE) is the recognized voice and promotor of water-related innovation, research, and technology development in Europe. WE is a purpose-driven multi-stakeholder association with over 250 members, representing the entire range of actors in the innovative water ecosystem. WE was established by the European Commission as a European Technology Platform. WE is guided in all its activities by its Water Vision with the ultimate ambition of achieving a Water-Smart Society.

Agència Catalana de l'Aigua - Catalan Water Agency
The Catalan Water Agency (ACA) is the public company of the Generalitat de Catalunya that is in charge of water planning and management in accordance with the basic principles of the Water Framework Directive .
Created in 2000, ACA promotes its action plan to guarantee, now and in the future, the supply, availability of water and its quality at source (groundwater and surface water). This action plan also promotes the sanitation of waste water and the protection and conservation of water bodies and associated ecosystems.
